Alice Götz
Alice Götz has been a lecturer at the Angewandte since 1998, where she specializes in the field of digital textile design. Her artistic research focuses on tilings/patterns, with a particular emphasis on new developments such as the micro/macro world, deep learning, GPT, AI and bio-data transfer (including brain waves, polygraph data)
Born in Vienna in 1966, Götz completed her studies at the Angewandte, where she received artistic training in Textile Design under Prof. Sepp Moosmann, Crafts Education under Prof. Wilhelm Cermak, and Art Education under visiting professor Isabelle Graw. Since 1992, she has been teaching at secondary schools in Vienna and Lower Austria. Additionally, since 2008, she has been a mentor in the subjects of Art & Design and Technology & Design.
