Sewing studio

The Sewing Studio is dedicated to helping students develop and execute their textile projects while teaching them how to use fundamental textile processing machines and materials. The studio is equipped with two digital sewing machines, an overlock machine, an industrial leather sewing machine, a professional steam ironing station, and a coverlock machine. To facilitate learning on equipment commonly found in schools, the studio also includes four household sewing machines of various models and ages, as well as a household overlock machine.

Additionally, the studio is stocked with several dressmaker dummies, essential tailoring accessories, and a collection of leftover fabric and clothing for students to use in their projects. Outside of regular class times, the Sewing Studio is available to Art Education students who have relevant prior experience or have completed a subject-specific course.
