Buttons and buttonholes are two familiar elements of clothing, but how do they really work? The festival audience was invited to become part of a collaborative process and, by making buttonholes and sewing on buttons, create new connections between textile elements and produce a large-scale textile collage together. While materials were provided, visitors were also invited to bring old clothing and/or buttons.
