Walter Lunzer is a trained fashion designer, master tailor for men and women, milliner and art teacher. He has been teaching at the Angewandte since 2005. As a self-employed entrepreneur he has experience with commissions in the fields of fashion production, custom design, corporate fashion, functional clothing and functional textiles. As a textile technologist and designer, he supports various companies and is involved in interdisciplinary research projects. He also works as a developer for Ottobock - HealthCare Products, a world market leader in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. Walter Lunzer is currently working on his dissertation about arm prostheses at the Department of Social Design at the Angewandte.
